I had some problems finding a parking space in Queenstown. In the end I paid $5.5 since I couldn´t find anything for free. I checked into the Last Resort and took a shower. Then I went to the Speight´s Ale House for lunch. They have lunch deals for $15.
When I got back to the hostel I did my laundry and took a nap. Since it was raining I got some computer work done and payed some bills. When the sun came out again I walked around the city and the lake front for a bit before returning to the hostel where I cooked and had dinner.
I settled on the couch to work on my blog and watch a movie with some of the other people from the hostel. In the morning I had to quickly run to the car and pay for another day. It was a beautiful sunny day, so I walked around Queenstown Gardens and sat on the beach for a while. I had lunch in a Japanese place and got some super yummy ice-cream at Patagonia for desert.
I had booked a lake cruise over BookMe at 2 pm for 90 minutes on Lake Wakatipa with views of the Remarkable Mountain Range.
After that I finally managed to get to the Jucy Rental place close to the airport to register Nate as second driver. I went back to the lake to chill a bit and on the way back to the hostel I decided that I need to try the famous Ferg Burger and since I would leave the next day this was my last chance. As always there was quite a queue in front of the shop. I had to stand in line for about 20 minutes to be able to order and wait for another 20 to 25 minutes to get it. I had a Sweet Bambi – a burger with deer, Brie and Boysenberry. I enjoyed on the porch of the hostel, it was pretty good.
I booked some more accommodations (unfortunately necessary since it was main season), worked on my Blog and secured pictures. Later I played cards with three guys from the hostel. The next morning at 9 I left in the direction of Wanaka.
